    300 win mag help

    Hi,
I'm in the market for 300 win mag,
currently im look at Weatherby Vanguard Series 2 Rifle

    and
    Tikka T3 Lite Bolt-Action Rifle - Stainless/Synthetic or blue/walnut

    because they accuracy and quality.
This is my hunting/bench rifle. What's advantage of each?
And there is any better option for rifle around $1500?
    thanks

Both are comprable guns. If you reload go for the Weatherby in 300 Weatherby Mag. Initial cost of brass will be a little higher and you'll use a few more grains of powder but it'll really reachout and touch something. You can also load it down to 300 win mag.

Yes both do and both are good rifles. The Vanguard is made by Howa if you did not know. I have both in other cartridges and like both.
Buy the one that fits you best and YOU like best. Do not listen to some idiot that tells you must get a Rem or Win or AR or whatever. Buy what you like and what FITS you since both are excellent rifles.
A 30cal will reach out and touch them. A 50cal will kick their butt.

I believe the Remington 5R also come in 300 Win Mag. This should be on your list to look at also.

R5 does come 300 win mag, but I dont think it will shoot submoa out the box. And I hear 700 trigger is not that good.

I bought one and it has a good trigger and
I put 5 rounds of Remington corelok at
100 yds at .6 ". The 5r remingtons are the
Shiznit right now. So from me to you Id entertain
              a 300wm rem 700 5r... Just my personal experience.
