    Waste of $$

The kits are picky to say the least.

Better off buying a dedicsted 22 pistol, even then 22 it self can be finicky.

Only know of a handful of people on the net that have had good experiences with their 22 kits. 90% say they are useless and jam 24/7

I havent been that fond of the conversions. I agree grab a buckmark or 22/45.

jam factories, unless youre made of minimags. I'd look at buckmarks or even gsg.

I got the Glock 30 conversion kit to 22lr and is worth the money. Also only use cci mini mags and jams 1 out of 100 rounds. I like it as the glock is my CCW so practice is cheap and easy. If you just looking for a 22lr pistol then do not get the kit.

I have not looked into Glock kits, but I looked at these conversion kits for a 1911 a while back. The price was high enough that I decided it would be a better choice to just buy a dedicated 1911 in 22.

If you already have a large stash of 22LR ammo, I think it's still worth it. Mastering the Glock trigger pull is what makes you a better shooter on that platform. Using the existing G34 lower is better training-wise than buying another pistol with different trigger setup.

My Advantage Arms kit worked with all ammo types, even those listed in the manual to avoid. Expect to clean the barrel every 100 to 200 rds to keep it functioning...at about 95% reliability.

Accuracy-wise, for shooting tiny targets beyond 15yds, I switch to my CZ Kadet.

+1 This is my experience as well. CCI minimags run great in all my 22LR autoloaders.

I have an Advantage Arms kit for a G17. So far I've shot a brick of CCI Blazer 40gr round nose over 3 range trips did not clean zero malfunctions. They have a posted a list of Recommended Ammo: http://advantagearms.hostasaurus.com...mendedAmmo.pdf
