What are you buying (make/model)

Are you buying ammo too?

Why are you buying these?

Are you buying the things you always wanted?

Are you buying the things most likely to get banned?

Gimme some insight. I plan on doing som shopping and want to know what might be left..

I'm not buying anything "post-election" that I wouldn't have bought pre-election.

I'm not panic-buying at all.

I am buying guns because I always buy guns though.

I just PPT'ed a TC Encore from another Calgunner this morning. I've got a Ruger GP100 on layaway at Turners (TECHNICALLY I 'bought' it before the election though), and I checked out some Rossi Winchester '92 clones at the Stockade yesterday. I'll probably be picking one of those up pretty soon.

For me it's just business as usual

I do want to pick up some more lowers, but I've been meaning to buy more lowers for the last few months. Now I just have to wait longer until the panic-buying has died down so I can get them at reasonable prices.

I bought some ammo, thats it. And I am finally getting my precision bolt, yes I said bolt, gun started. That way the anti-gun freaks won't think I am an evil puppy killer, just a hunter

I plan ahead i bought ammo. I would like to get another gun, more ammo or body armor for xmas.

Not really panic buying, I usually find my way into an FFL once a month at least. A few months a year I end up with multiple purchases, so this month isn't really out of the ordinary if you look at the big picture.

I have purchased 8 guns this month (5 rifles/receivers and 3 handguns) and I am considering a 9th due to availability and I have a line on them.

Here's my November list:

For Ammo:

I bought 2k of .357 Magnum since I don't reload that caliber yet and bought a revolver that shoots it. I bought a bunch more XM193 and SA 7.62 in October, so no more of that.

Reloading:
I bought a set of .357 dies, along with another toolhead and powder drop/etc for the Dillon 650, another 10k of .40 S&W / 10mm bullets, another 2k of 500 S&W / Beowulf bullets, a bunch of assorted primers and 20 pounds of powder.

Things more likely to be banned. I just bought a couple of lowers. I would have bought them eventually. BHO being elected just moved my time frame sooner. Luckily I was still able to get them at the regular price.

I did the same thing and got mine just in time. My LMT lower is in the middle of my 10 Day wait. I felt that it might get lonely, so I even got a Remington SPR310 to keep it company at Ade's...

My local dealer says that I follow the law very well: One gun per month. My wife has a different interpretation. I bought a shotgun after the election, but I would have bought it anyway. They pushed a lower receiver on me so I bought one. I guess that was my "Obama" purchase. I bought some 7.62 x 39 and .223 online just to stock up a little more, since I managed to make more room in my safe with my "custom" shelves. Any "panic" buying was done well in advance of the election.

i was planning on buying a saiga anyway but i decided to jump on it on the day of the election before prices went up. while is was buying my saiga i noticed everyone else there was getting lowers so i bought a striped lower too. i also stocked up on .223 and bought some 7.62x54r. im not even sure what to do with the lower and im now regretting getting it because the rest of the parts are hard to get now and i dont know anything about building an ar on a OLL. after all that i was broke so i bought a cheap hi point 9mm and now im really broke. i told my wife not to let me buy anything else but i am still looking for deals. time to cut the credit cards in half.

My range/FFL was absolutely packed on Veteran's Day - they were selling lots of guns - according to the owner, business has been quite brisk (new and consignment stuff) since Election Day.

I bought some WWII rifles. K98, M39, M38 and 91/30s. However, I collect that kind of stuff anyway. I will buy some 8mmm and 7.62x54R ammo as it is still cheap and I need some for those rifles. The only other thing I am thinking about buying is an upper for my OLL that I haven't built up yet, but that is something I wanted in any event.
