While I do acknowledge that some restrictive firearm laws here in California were signed by Republican Governors, what does that have to do with the original premise/question identified by the OP? Can anyone honestly argue that Hillary would not do everything in her power to further restrict our ability to possess firearms? Gun owners need to look forward and stop the recriminations and in fighting and support pro-gun politicians at all levels.

If Hillary gets elected, there is no question that she will be the most anti-gun President in history.

It's called walking the political line and she did it very well there. If anyone thinks she does not know the difference between automatic and semi-auto you are fooling yourself. She knew exactly what she was saying.

She is clearly a 2a hater but did not want offend the pro 2a group. Using the word automatic appeases the 2a haters and the crowd there, but does not directly offend the regular 2a supporters who know the law regarding automatic wepons.
