Got a Russian SKS back in late July. Just before My employer gave me the boot (for doing my job). Probably my last chance to own something nice.
If I can, I'll be getting a bunch of 10 round fixed sks magazines. (Anybody know a supplier?)
I'll want to grab a few thousand rounds of surplus 7.62x54r. Before President Berry cuts off imported ammo via executive order.
If time allows I'll be picking up some 10 round ar mags. (eventually want to get a keltec su16) so I won't be limited to the 5 rounders a new aw ban would mandate.
If I can win my appeal (my direct supervisors still like me, it was a political firing) in enough time, the backpay will go a long way toward improving my collection, and even helping my best friend (out of state) get himself something even nicer. (I missed his birthday)
Those of you stocking up on ar lowers, do you see the magazines, parts, grips, stocks forends (barrel shroud?) remaining available?
