    Gun Case Set Up

So I got this Pelican case that I want to refurbish and it came with foam that was still in great condition. Laid out my guns and what not just to get an idea. Does anyone have any suggestions?? I really want to utilize all the space I can in the three layers of foam. I have a prospective Ruger 10/22 and or a Ruger GP100 with more mags for my other handguns.

So please any feedback is greatly appreciated. Some pictures of your setups would help a great deal as well!

This will be a DIY project for me as far as the cutting goes but if anyone knows a great place with reasonable prices in San Diego that can do it, contact info would be great as well!

I can't offer any DIY advice, but I've been considering purchasing from Case Club and they have a Design Online system you maybe can use to figure out your own layout - you could always buy from them too if you like the price.

You don't have to cut away. I have several 1750 and 1400 cases without cutting the foam and have stored multiple firearms for more than 10 years without issue.

Current progress on refurbishing. I was too anxious with getting it started that I took the "before" picture about half an hour into sanding it down and getting rid of all the graffiti. Put a layer of primer and then flat black. Still need to do the very bottom. After all that, one more good layer of flat black to solidify the look.
