Is it Appendix or Appendage Carrying?

I have often heard, "Never point your gun at any part you that you are not willind to destroy! I read one guy state "I would rather shoot myself in the arse rather than lose my junk! Opinions welcomed! Take the question with both levity and serious consideration! Faster draw vs nothing to draw?

wth are you asking? You know what an appendage is right?

Never heard those sayings before, but carry in a way that's comfortable for you.

appendix carry is okay for standing up, but sucks to sit, and a incident may leave you in Bruce (Bryce ???) Jenner's doctor's waiting room.

I carry either at 6'oclock, or a 8 for me (Lefty) with subcompact inside waistband. and carry either on the belt cross carry with a 45 degree cant or on my chest with duty size or larger (long barrel revolvers etc.)
Chest carry is great for when wearing a pack, or fishing. I really like cross draw with a cant for when on a saddle or seated in a vehicle as it stays out of the way and can be drawn without obstructions.

None of that drop holster stuff for me. Looks pretty gusto, but jangles about too much. Kind of like taking a jog with an ankle holster.

      YMMV

The term "appendix carry" was invented for the younger crowd who've never seen an analog watch and have no clue where "2 o'clock" is

What's the difference if you shoot your sack off? Would you care about spelling then?

It could be called appendage carry if an ankle holster is worn. But yea, if something gets shot off, grammar will be pretty low on the priority list.

Either you missed the joke, or I'm seeing one that isn't there.

The title was in jest. Carrying appendix at 12:00 might cost you an appendage!
