A "Bullet Button" isn't going to do any good on the pictured weapon.

The purpose of a "Bullet Button" is to create a fixed magazine so that weapon falls outside the definition of an "Assault Weapon."

Where the weapon uses a belt feed magazine (please note that California law defines "magazine" so broadly as to include belts - Refer to Penal Code section 16890), the "Bullet Button" does not serve the purpose of creating that fixed magazine.

I'm more intrigued by an AR pattern rifle that uses linked ammunition!

According to The Black Rifle, that backpack system was developed by a Santa Ana company. Of course, the AR-10 and AR-15 were products of Hollywood!

Evil features and more than 10 rounds of linked ammo, only featureless could make it legal here.

Google Ares Shrike, that is the most successful ones, though there were others.

that design has gone through a couple iterations since then. its most recently offered here, http://www.beltfedar.com/

Ares also makes a belt-fed AR that is a more drop-in solution. the Valkyrie option does require machining of the lower receiver and has exposed moving hardware that the ARes option doesn't need.

Just don't get that AR15 in the obsolete .222 cartridge. You'll have a hard time getting it to work with .223 ammo.

Do not try and bend the spoon, that's impossible. Instead, only try to realize the truth...there is no spoon.

Ahhh, you're right. I also spaced on the belt fed part.

It sucks that Obama banned all of the .222 ammo already!
