Costco has sales now & again on low end fireproof safes.

Stack-on if just to lock stuff up, but don't expect protection from fire or theft.

Or, if you aren't concerned about fire and theft, there is a recent thread on using a converted refrigerator and just adding a lock.

And remember to buy something way bigger than what you think you need.

Be careful. That's slippy slope to breaking the wallet.

Buy a minimum of twice the size you think you might need.

This has been discussed here a LOT. Do a search and you'll find a ton of info. Buy the most expensive safe you can afford. A bad guy can break into a cheap safe in about five minutes with tools you probably have in your garage.

Buy big since you will want more than guns in it. You will put important papers, jewelry, cameras, range finders, speed loaders, binos, mags and clips and such. It will fill up fast
A 30cal will reach out and touch them. A 50cal will kick their butt.
