Went to a friends house today , He Inherited some items from his wife's side of family
The man was in WW II and items included Bayonets and slings ect..
The Items are all staying in family to be passed on

And this ...................
Never seen anything like it , Any Ideas ???????

Yes it's a cuff sling for target shooting. Mostly used on smallbore target rifles and NRA Match rifles. I actually leave the cuff on my jacket and just "clip in" when I get into position, much easier than a military sling.

I agree. The photo is of a cuff and sling that is used by almost all smallbore competitors.
