    featureless setup

Eventually I want to make a featureless AR and AK. I would like to know what you guys think the best setup is. Better to buy a featureless or build?

For AR, i love the Thordsen setup.

For AK, not many options. Kydex is your best bet.

The answer to build vs buy is always build.

Thankfully there are more options for featureless these days than ever before. Including our new FREE 3D printable AK & AR grips.

Ak is pretty natural with a grip wrap. Thorsden looks the best for AR.

I personally like the Thordsen setup. Ran the hammerhead for years. Is a great set-up and I still run one on one of my AR's, but I'm growing to prefer the thordsen. More control of the rifle and the better grip makes it much easier to insert an aluminum USGI 30 round mag on a closed bolt. I did have to shorten the ambi safety and cut a few coils out of the safety spring. Run a carbine coarse for a day with full spring tension on the safety and you are ready to just use your secondary weapon no matter the distance

What does your research indicate ?? You should have already reviewed the dozens of featureless build threads in the semi-auto rifle section, and here in general.
Not to mention the reviews on the different featureless products available.
