My last night in the PRK

So I took a new job that will let me work remotely, and am moving to Oregon to be closer to the extended family. Tonight is my last night in the OC. Once I'm there, I'll be having very special ceremony of removing AR bullet buttons and AK mag locks.

As far as Calguns goes, I'm not going anywhere. I'm still intensely invested in what happens here regarding 2A issues, and I'm aware that OR is a purple state that is shifting ever more blue as it follows in the PRK's footsteps.

        Good luck!

I'm finding that interesting as I look at properties, just how far out of town can I be and still get 50MB down / 5 MB up.

Congrats! Does your bullet button removal ceremony include shooting it afterwards?

I am envious that you can find a way to make your move work, it will be nice to be in a semi-free state, although I agree with you, it is very purple and it seems as if they are passing the Cancerous anti-gun laws almost as fast the the politicians here are. Best of luck and glad you are staying on Calguns, we need you here. You can be our front line reporter in Oregon and let us know how the battle goes up there.

Nice. Four and a half more years and I too will leave this God-forsaken rectum of a state.

Thanks guys. It'll be the Milton-Freewater area, right on the edge of national forest. I've been here in Cali over 20 years, and will miss the ocean and the year-around mountain biking. I won't be missing the traffic as much, or the drought, or the taxes and insane government.

As far as 2A goes, I'm most looking forward to standard cap mags, CCW, and no more bullet buttons!

Perhaps, you can show the people of the purple state what the nightmare looks like down here if/when they turn themselves into a blue state. Show them the ridiculousness of the "law" here.

I've been there a few times, and really like that part of Oregon. Milton-Freewater is a nice unpretentious town from what I remember of it.

Buy a 30 rd mag for the AR and post pics so we can see what they look like.

Congrats on being paroled out of Cali. Good luck on the new job and being a little more free than here. I am trying to get the Mrs to get out, hopefully Idaho, however our parents are getting to where they need help, so for now stuck in the cell.
