Reasons sited are the mim parts used in modern models and the addition of the built in locks. You can find lots of hate from those Clinton Years.
still feeling the hate. will not buy new Smith & Wesson. or any used guns made since 1999.

when Ruger started marketing the BX-25 10-22 magazine, I saw it as a change of heart. It probably had something to do with Bill has croaked. which is fine with me.

so I finally have bought some Rugers.

Glock rear slide rail recall or extractor issue? Only a few rear slides failed and were promptly replaced with free shipping back and forth. The extractor issue has been problematic but it wouldn't stop me from using mine or possibly buying another Glock.

Now technically speaking, they never said that the rifles originally had those markings, but when you're selling a refinished gun with fake stamps for $20k, who cares?

Original German WW II Mauser K98 Bolt Action Rifle Collector Grade $499

"maximum matching serial numbers"? Yeah, because they're phony.

Oh look, in 2013 for an extra $100 fee they'll even mark whatever factory and year codes they have the stamps for.

I know nutnfancy did a recent video proclaiming that michell's mausers is amazing, the reality is that he's full of crap and this stuff has been disputed for years with photos, discussions with actual experts, and so on.

I was working off my faulty old man memory and mixing things up. Ruger said 15 rds but the '94 crime bill, based on rugers model legislation, ended up with a 10 rd limit. But the fact that he wanted a limit at all is enough.

Since you seem to like .357 mag, try Taurus Tracker 627. It was my first revolver, and it still has the best factory trigger short of a Dan Wesson. At least, in my experience, and I've had my share of S&Ws. No newer Colts though, maybe they have better triggers.

i am curious why several people have mentioned Troy Industries? Was there a big customer service incident or problem I was unaware of? Why do so many people have beef?

EDIT -- Is this why? http://bearingarms.com/troy-industri...nti-gun-hires/

Glock. I consider them to be the cereal box toys of handguns.

Armatix. Ridiculous products from a douchebag company.

Anything sold by Oak Tree. Because of their association with Armatix (see above).

I will never buy a Kahr or Taurus again. I've owned firearms from both and they were lemons. Neither company would make good or stand by their products.

My opinion: Glock is an excellent company. They provide a great product at a reasonable price, support law enforcement and the armed services, and their customer support is awesome.
