    Firearm manufactures you wont support?

Are there any firearm manufactures you personally wont ever buy products from?

Factors such as poor reliability, business practices, or even a customer service experience gone horribly wrong? And don't just list Glock or Hi Point without some sort of legitimate reason

I think some of us (including me) would like to make more educated purchases with companies that are truly "on our side".

A face only a mother could love.
Ever since I first saw one in the eighties, I thought it was the ugliest gun I'd ever seen. Slide looks like a skyscraper. Like, you couldn't possibly design it to have a higher bore axis. Weird stamped sheet metal trigger looks like it came off of a cap gun or an old Howdy Doody toy revolver.
It's all aesthetically out of whack for me.
Has nothing to do with their business practices or the time their ceo almost ran the company into the ground and they had all the qc issues.
I just think they're gawdawful fugly.
But then again, I think the absolutely spartan glock is beautiful, so I fully realize I could be crazy. To me, when you can't take anything else away from the design without affecting function, then you've reached perfection.

There was a lot of folks that will only buy S&W guns used and won't support them now.
Reasons sited are the mim parts used in modern models and the addition of the built in locks. You can find lots of hate from those Clinton Years.

Fair enough, I always thought they were the epitome of a modern pistol.

I'm in that group due to the built in lock, I wont buy any pistol with a magazine disconnect either. The thought of "safety features" that can render the pistol inoperable are ludicrous to me.

I don't specifically "not support" them, but I won't be buying a Kimber anytime soon. I just can't bring myself to spend the amounts of money most places have their guns priced at when I can buy plenty of other great guns for much less.

See, I hadn't even heard of this company until this thread and now I've got two unanimous thumbs down, waayy down. I learned something today...
