    Greetings,
Lately Ive been intrested in highpower and specifically service rifle competition but have no expierence with either of these, YET. Regardless anyone played this...

I gave in and ordered the package deal, the guys at nationmatch.us seem to like it...

Looks like it could be fun for a while but it won't help you at the real range other then learning the flow of matches. Let us know how you like it.

I have that game and played a couple of online matches. It does teach you the flow of matches and takes away first match jitters.

I think the compass that shows you the direction and speed of the wind is a little unrealistic, but it does teach you to make corrections fast.

It would be nice to show varying degrees of mirage through your spotting scope, but the physics engine would have to be gutted quite a bit.

Most of the online games are scheduled on nationalmatch.us

There was definately some teething problems early on, but they seem to be ironed out.

Wow the graphics are totally cutting edge (back in 1999)!

Looks like a cool game though. At only $9.99 it couldn't hurt to try it out.

^ The developer wanted a quicker time to market, so that's why a more "mature" graphics engine was used.

For a lot of older competitors or those who have crappy eyes (me), it's actually a big improvement over what we actually see!

ISE Games wanted to hit as broad a market as they could and realized that not a lot of gun guys use the latest and greatext PCI-X cards. The early patches actually dealt with users who have integrated graphics on their motherboard.

I tried a game similiar to that one. These are good games and really do teach you how to shoot better. Shows you how to use the adjustments on a scope as well as adjust for wind and distance based on the caliber of the bullet. These games will make you a more efficient terrorist killer. I am sure the CA DOJ will eventually ban these games!

^ I chided the developer during an in-game chat about a "hot coffee" mod.

He LOL'd on screen and responded that he didn't need the head ache.

                I found a 3-pak deal here: http://cgi.ebay.com/NRA-Varmint-Hunt...QQcmdZViewItem

Looks like a decent price too.
