I recent purchased a steel silhouette target that needs to be tilted downward as per the sticker on the rear. The silhouette has holes for bolts on the top, what's the best way to mount it to ensure I don't get hit by a ricochet and what distances should I maintain when shooting ? I assumed it would have been mounted via 2x4 in the back. Thanks

Steel target question

Get some chain.
Get some bolts.
Get some washers.
Get some nuts.
Run the bolts through through the chain, through a few washers, through the back of the target, and into the nuts.
When you hang your target by the chain it'll be be hanging at an angle towards the ground.
Shoot it at 25 yards or greater for pistols while wearing eye protection. The chance of catching a ricochet is small, but not none.Calguns.net, where everyone responding to your post is a Navy Force Delta Recon 6 Sniperator. -
Here's a thread from a Calguns vendor with what you are looking for. I have purchased from Steve, he's very quick to build and ship.
