Concomitantly, I think I've spent about ten to twelve thousand dollars on gun stuff since December!
Nice, I work out of town quite a bit too building mining equipment. Not as far away as Alaska but when I'm away from home it's best to take as much OT as I can get, keeps my mind off missing home.

OT is the only way to make money as an hourly working stiff.

Lots of math challenged idiots tell me, "But the IRS will take all if it".

Yeah, kinda maybe that paycheck because it bumps your rate up (didn't they end that) but it all works out the same at end of the year.

Just leaves more for me. Once I hit Double Time pay you can't get me off a job.
Am I a good shot!?!, YEAH I'M A GOOD SHOT!....i just got bad aim

Ok so I gotta ask. You LEO? And I really like Barnwood but they've done a couple things lately that kinda erk me.

My buddy saw your shotgun under the glass, just inquiring he asked why is it in the LEO section? They start rambling on about how the gun maybe considered a auto loader and it's a fine line, grey area and he didn't want to sell it to anyone not an LEO.

REALLY? He said he would ship it to your FFL and they can take the risk but not him.

Now I guess being cautious in this line of work is good, but if the gun is legal when sold and processed what's the big deal?? I just didn't understand all the nonsense they were spewing.

I never did any SSE there but I wonder if they frowned on that too.
Enjoy the shotgun though...it's fun to shoot!!

I just read the price you got...you must be. That gun was priced at $1100 when we last saw it.

I really miss the mandatory ot, and the holiday pay, uniform allowance checks. Having to cash out comp time because I had too much on the books. I knew there was going to be something I missed about working, and it sure wasn't the work.

How in hell's name could anyone be dumb enough to consider a pump action shotgun (that you have to rack with AUTHORITY, believe me) as an autoloader?

No kidding! I hear that all the time. I am always down for OT because at the end of the year, a nice tax return.
