    Cerakote Barrels

I haven't really been able to find any solid evidence on this. If its good, bad, what effects it has. Anyone have any info, or experience with this? My google skills are lacking.

      They don't coat the inside.
Oppressors can tyrannize only when they achieve a standing army, an enslaved press, and a disarmed populace. -- James Madison

The Constitution shall never be construed to authorize Congress to prevent the people of the United States, who are peaceable citizens, from keeping their own arms. -- Samuel Adams, Debates and Proceedings in the Convention of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, 86-87 (Pearce and Hale, eds., Boston, 1850)

I am not sure I understand the question?
Rule 1- ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED

Rule 2 -NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY (including your hands and legs)

Rule 3 -KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET

Rule 4 -BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND IT

The only downside of cerakoting a barrel is breaking it in again.

I think he might be referring to Cerakote's heat dissipation ability, but that's only for the automotive version of Cerakote as far as I have read.

I've never heard of Cerakote causing problems when applied to the outside of barrels.

I have shotgun barrels that are cerakoted with no issues, and they get pretty warm.
