    Selling .22 to brother

I have a .22 semi-auto pistol that I want to sell to my brother. Does it need to go through an FFL?

I don't know if it qualifies for an intrafamilial transfer. I'd check with the DOJ bof to be sure. But I think a ppt is in order if you "sold" it.

        Yes.

Intrafamilial only applies to parent/child/grandchild, husband/wife, etc.

Edit: Sell it now before you move to Idaho, since it will cost less as a PPT than as an out of state transfer (and it has to be on the roster if it's coming in from Idaho).
