The time has come to STOP

buying .22LR from the flippers. Let them sit on their 10,000 rounds. Whether they want 7 or 37 cents a round, don't buy it. It's ridiculous that we allow this grey market to thrive.

Used to be a time when panic buying wasn't rewarded and you lived with your purchase. The ammunition is still in production, and when there's no incentive to re-sell it these weirdos will stop buying it and the supply will return.

Hoarders gonna hoard, but that group of individuals is not the reason for the shortage. The real issue is the flippers. Don't buy it if you're not gonna shoot it. Let's end this circus in 2015.

Never bought from a flipper in the first place. If I needed it, I paid a retailer.

Just the way I do it.

The lack of .22lr in stores drove my to get into archery. Then I bought my first 9mm and archery was sidelined.
      I won't buy .22lr from flippers.
The only one that got hurt was my daughter. She tried, and loved, my 10/22 a week before Sandy Hook. She hasn't shot since. (I did find some at Cabalas so when school gets out she'll get to shoot again)

OMG... awesome... the 112th topic on 22lr and ammo flippers. Thank God, we had gone a few days without one, I was getting nervous someone wouldn't start another thread on this topic. What a relief! I am also pumped that NOW is the time to stop this.

This .22 stuff will die down. I think it already has but the flippers are keeping it up. Ill never buy from a flipper. That said I had been buying .22 for years before the rush.

I am still trying to go through my Remington Green box 525, doesn't help that my rifle is a 5 round bolt action 22lr.

I love how the high and mighty feel they can tell the rest of us what to do!!!

If the price is right, I'll buy ammo from whomever I feel like.

There are some retailers that I would classify as "flippers."

I think it's time for people that want to WHINE about flippers to stop making threads about it.

Whats worse...a guy flipping ammo for a profit.

Or the people that whine about.

Maybe instead of obsessing about ammo flippers.... you should get a hobby.

lol, when ammo becomes short in supply, all of the retailers are flippers in one way or another.

I'll make an unpopular prediction: We are in the calm before the storm. If Clinton actually wins the upcoming election, we will see a run on guns and ammo that will make the previous one under Obama seem like a cake walk.

My advice is to get those good retailers to sell you a quantity of rimfire at current, reasonable prices, that you think sufficient to weather a couple-three of years of drought. Again.

If you think our current President is anti-gun, you haven't seen anything yet.

Hillary will win, no doubt about that. And I think it's safe to say when that happens, there will be a huge run on guns and ammo. If you don't buy now, don't complain then

Can't get enough or even find .22lr???

Have you thought about 'Black Powder'? Finding powder & shot hasn't been any problem for me and besides, IT'S A BLAST!!!

When I find .22lr at a decent price, I'll buy it, but not until then. In the meantime I'll just blow through the black powder that I have and enjoy myself....also, it's less paperwork (none) to buy black powder pistols and rifles...my collection is growing. I'm still on the prowl for a shotgun (double barrel) and a squirrel gun.
