Prices have seemed to bump up a bit in the last month thanks to the M855 scare. Immediately before that, you could buy Wolf Gold 223 for less than $300/1K delivered. Although today isn't as good as two months ago, it's still a good time to buy ammo.

Some shooters will settle for WKRP ammo because they got a good $deal on it. Too many shooter believe a couple of duds out of a box of ammo is somehow acceptable.

FWIW, I've had more "dud rounds" shooting American-made ammo than any spam-can surplus. And I shoot WAY more surplus than I do American ammo...
