    Roller Trigger

Anyone tried a roller trigger before?
Took my new JP GMR-13 with the roller trigger option to the range yesterday and it feels great! Shot 500+ shells in one hour!
I would like to hear what are your experience with it.

500 rounds in an hour is an awful lot of shooting in an hour. That's a shot every 7 seconds.

Regarding the trigger system, I understand the theory, but in practice I see the roller making it harder, not easier to pull the trigger straight back and not put lateral pressure on the rifle because you would need to use your knuckle instead of the pad of your finger. I think it's gimmicky and a way to try and shortcut the fundamentals of good marksmanship.
If you are wondering if you can get a LTC in Riverside County: THE ANSWER IS YES!

"...I think it's gimmicky and a way to try and shortcut the fundamentals of good marksmanship."

^ that is exactly what they said about scopes, electronic optics of any kind, lasers and many other products we consider normal and potentially useful today. (although a case could still be made for those items shortcutting the fundamentals.)

I'm not saying you're wrong in this case, in fact I think the odds are in your favor. Lots of items turn out to be just gimmicks in almost any industry but only a few make it in the long run.

(also I agree that 500 rounds in an hour that's a lot of shooting short amount of time, but maybe you were trying to prove something about the speed and its relationship to the new trigger.)

Anyone can blindly rip off several hundred rounds in an hour.......and not hit a damn thing.

What distance where you shooting? How were your groupings? How did those compare to pervious sessions using a standard trigger?

Loo's a decent shot. I've seen it first hand. And his equipment is top notch.
          Sorry, not sorry.
