    How many can I buy?

Quick question. I know it's been asked but it'd be faster for me to ask than to search and spend several mins trying to find an anwser.

I just bought a Remington 700 and I want to buy a lower. Are are long guns under the same rules as handguns? No more than 1 per 30 days?

When my neighbor asked what all those crates were, I told him if he sees smoke coming from my garage, and me running down the street......he better catch up!

      SO WRONG!!!

There is no limit to the amount of long guns you can purchase at a time or in a month, of course the 10 day wait is still there, but no limit on the amount.

Many like to save money as you can do multiple long guns on the same DROS.
I think it can be confirmed that an alien xenomorph is absolutely no match for good ole' Alabama black snake!

      and

If you're in a survival movie and the hot blond twists her ankle and can't walk, you damn well figure a way to carry her. If it's a dude, you shake his hand and say "best of luck".

No limit on long guns, buy as many as you want to/can afford

I regularly buy 3-6 per DROS to save funds.

on my C&R I've done 72 in one order

As Vin said buy all you want. Even better is to do them all on one DROS so you do not have to pay DROS on each one. Unlike handguns, you can have more than rifle on one DROS fee. Let whover is handling the DROS that you will have more than one to list.

I thought I only applied to handguns, but I wanted to make sure. Thanks for the replies. I wish I had thought of buying the lower at the same time I bought the Rem700, would have saved me $25.

My bad, I was only thinking about a 10 day waiting period, not thinking about the amount you can DROS. My bad

does the one per 30 day limit also apply to C&R (over 50 years old) handguns as well?

                  No, it does not.

You can get around the handgun 1 per 30 day limit on Dealer transfers if you have both a C&R FFL and a COE, but this applies to all handguns. The C&R status of the handgun never comes into play.
