How does a PPT work?

Sorry if this sounds dumb.

I know it has to take place at an FFL but is there still a 10 day wait? Or is it just the paper work & transactoin fee and then the weapon is exchanged?

Yup. Take EVERYTHING you would normally need in order to purchase a hand gun (if it is a hand gun) and when the salesmen asks you twice if the correct address on your ID, dont say yes when your second proof of res says otherwise. Less you want to annoy the Turners jockey *grumble*
Also, if it doesnt come with a DOJ approved lock, be prepared to buy one or BRING a RECEIPT for one (from within the last 30 days)
