Colt Uppers

I bought a Spikes Tactical lower from a dealer here, and I ordered a Colt LE6920 Upper from Cheaperthandirt.net but they wouldn't ship to CA. I shipped it to my parents home in NC so they could just forward it to me.
From what I gather, it doesn't matter which upper I get as long as its 16"?
And cheaperthandirt just doesn't want to ship to CA just because they don't want to deal with stupid CA laws..

Welcome to cheaper that ****!. Worthless gouging company. Just have your parents ship it to you. No issues with the upper coming into the state.
