    RIA 22TCM/9mm and Magazines

I've a 22TCM RIA 1911 that will be transferred to me today. It's a single stack. I'm looking to buy more magazines for it but wanted to see if I was thinking things through correctly.

I need to buy mags (non-OEM) that will hold both 22TCM and 9mm rounds. I can't use regular 9mm mags because the 22TCM round is longer than 9mm. I've seen one or two posts that hint that 38 Super mags will work. Can anyone confirm if that'll work? I've the feeling it will, but thought I'd ask before buying.

EDIT: I think I finally found an answer. The guy said that the 22TCM rounds will fit in a 38 Super mag...he didn't actually test fire with that mag, though. I guess I'll go ahead and purchase a 38 Super mag and give it a shot...if it works, I'll buy several more.

hello there, i have a 22TCM on a single stac , the mag i use is the 38 super mag. Do not buy the wilson mag. The Wilson mag that i got, the folower nose dive after the 5th round, the mecgar that i bought works better. The other one would be the Metalform
