    PSA messed up.

Well it's been awile since I've read a thread about PSA messing up and order. But they just did it to me. Ordered a 16" m4 profile 5.56 barrel for $88 shipped. Opened it up and found a silver 18 inch 223 wylde barrel. Called them up and got a return label but they sold the one I wanted to some one else. Out of curiousity I looked up the barrel and found they shipped me a $200 barrel before tax and shipping. Still going to send it back as this is useless for what I want and I'd probly feel like I'm kind of stealing. But I'm still kind of annoyed they sold my barrel to someone else.

    What I ordered

    What I got.

I just got my order. 8 days incl weekends as I ordered the prior Saturday and not only was it all good they finally shrink wrapped my 90 round boxes of 5.56 that were $31.99. The last boxes of ammo I got from them all fell apart and left me with loose ammo. It's almost like they read my complaint and fixed it....but I'm guessing more a coincidence. My order 100% spot on this time.

You should just ask them if you can keep it. You might not want to use it now but maybe you will in a future build.

Send it back let them make it right.

If they let you keep it, or lose money on it. Their fault. Not yours.

So you had no problem mounting it on your AR? So when you send it back and I get a slightly used one I should blame yoU?

Well if you actually look it's not mounted. It's just placed next to it on my coffee table. This is my first gun and after waiting over a week for my barrel to come in I at least wanted to know about what it would look like. But I'm sending it back tomorrow. It's too far from what I wanted and I don't want to save up again for another barrel.

Since you can't see that it's obviously not "mounted" to anything in the picture, you probably shouldn't be ordering a barrel any time soon. You might try installing it backwards or something.

Have 'em replace it, or ask for an equivalent upgrade to a better barrel since they screwed up(I'm not saying demand it).

It was their mistake so i wouldn't consider it "stealing", but as a good calgunner i would inform PSA and let them know of their mistake and let them make it right.

Just over a week to come in? Man PSA is getting a lot better in shipping times since I last ordered.

Just cuz something's legal doesn't make it right. The right thing to do is to return the incorrect part.

Please don't hate, but it looks like the sent the correct barrel to me!

Sounds like OP is fishing for people to tell him to keep it.

Why should the OP have to spend time or money to return an item he never ordered?

I got my upper last week correct and it took less than two weeks to get. I would honestly think about keeping that barrel if they are ok with it that is a great come up. But you did the right thing by contacting them, if they say keep it I would!!!

Because it's the right thing to do; and if the roles were reversed, it would be what the OP would want.

It's also what Jesus would do, if he ordered an AR-15 barrel from PSA and got the wrong part.
