    .22LR ammo

I bought a box of your Calif. approved and legal .22LR CCI, is this stuff accurate or is it just 9 dollar per 50 rounds of crap.

    "Your".... Dang.
If it's the mini-mags it's at least cleaner and more reliable than some lesser stuff.
I'm not a Goodnuf shot to be sure about accuracy differences.

All non-incendiary .22lr ammo is legal in CA. Are you talking about lead free for hunting?

Says Green lead free on this box of CCI .22LR. It's supposed to be legal to hunt/shoot ground squirrels with in your state of Calif. in the California Condor area. Nope it doesn't have mini mag on it either.

          CCI is still generally clean.
How about a range report when you're done?

Damm. With tax, 20cents a round! Maybe squirrels have their own lobby in Sacto to get this law approved. At that price, a lot will live longer.

I wouldn't hunt an elk with it.

I will post something when I do get around to shooting some of it. Shooting squirrels in Calif. is getting pretty expensive if you have to shoot a steady diet of this stuff. At 1,650 fps the 21 grain HP bullet should make a pretty good mess of what ever it hits at short range. If I can get up close enough to burn the hair out of the inside of his ear that stuff might kill a nice elk, ya think? muzzle flash.

The lead free 22lr crapola more than likely wont shoot worth damn. Its not very popular at all becuz of its cost and performance. And the lead ban on squirrels or small game doesn't go into effect until 2016 state wide iirc.
