    Freaking FUN night!

So I am putting in my winter garden and I came up short on the cow crap for amending the soil so I borrowed my sister's truck, grabbed my Sheridan C9 and a shovel and went out to the local dairy to jack some of his perfectly composted manure. It was supposed to be a short trip...

WRONG! I got there around 3:15 and didn't come back until 7. What was I doing for those 3.75 hours aside from scooping fecal material? Why, I was helping feed the calves their milk and then I started shooting the freaking rats! They were everywhere! I ended up stomping 2 and shooting another 7 or so. I can't believe how much freaking fun it is to shoot rats! Seriously, I haven't had this much fun in eons!

    Phew! Glad that is over.

On a side note, what else is good to plant in the winter? I have broccoli, cauliflower, mint, lettuce, cucumbers, arugala, oregano, basil, carrots, onions and peppers in the ground right now... any other ideas?

I'm sure you know the mint will make or other vegatables taste more minty.

Didn't have a camera, though I will have one next time

I told the owner (friend of the family) that if he sees someone running around at 12AM that it is me.

                Oh yeah.

Really? Crap! I might have to transplant the mint then to some other location... crap!

There was a Rat that was eating my tomatoes but I didn't catch him doing it until he had eaten EVERY tomato off my vines. I thought it was my neighbor's kid, at first but I saw the rat munching on my plants one day...

That Rat is in hell now...
