I just got my second custom shotgun from Taran, and my third Benelli custom in total, with the last being from Salient.


In dealing with Taran, it's always been smooth, and he seems to always be there at the shop with his staff.

The gun mods are not stagnant. They are always evolving at his shop.

for instance, on the load port, the old one was flared and beveled, now the new one is even larger and flared at the front, instead of the factory flare whose lines run parallel, and unlike the previous one, has a guide fore and aft of the lifter for 2 up, or dual load feeding.

Very nice! I got a Salient M2 in 2010 for 3 Gun great shotgun. TTI does great work.
If I had to get another one it would be a TTI. Really like the increased size of the loading port.

No, was given a discount for being a repeat customer.

The name is only on twice, one on each side, the rest is the trademark, you know, I think like Magpul then the M. The bolt used to be sold separately, so is the charge handle, the safety, lifter, etc, etc.

It's quality stuff, that works smooth and fast.

There's only 3 people that do Benelli's well.

2 are in Ca, the other back east. Taran and Salient.

So, it's open knowledge.

With Taran, you can drive it there, and see the shooting range/shop. He's a very jovial person, and fast as lightning.

That was my first impression as well, most of the competition shotguns I've seen have vent ribs and bead(s) on them.

This is more similar to the Wilson Combat Border Patrol (based on Remington 870 pump action) I think.

Ya, you noticed!!

My last was a 21 inch bbl, with vent rib.

Now, I want a shorter one with ghosts. I like this more, and not having a long mag tube and long barrel feels better for me. The stippling is my own. Also, the shell latch is my own mod. I polished it, and cut the back, and dished the lip, so it has less spring, so it would be easier to load 2 shells at once, and not push past a heavy spring and latch.







Im doing it to save $100 bucks.

Fired 60 low brass/low power shells and it ran all.
