The article doesn't make sense. Steyr and MSAR are 2 separate entities. One "improved" the AUG, the other invented it back in the 70's. As far as I know, Steyr got tired of the clones, so they brought over a civilian version. Looks like Steyr put MSAR out of business.Comment

When the Steyr AUG A3 became available for sale in the US, and with it's pricing near that of the Stg-556, that pretty much spelled the end for the Stg series.
That said, I have a brand new in the box Stg-556 Gen IV. Wondering if it's going be worth anything?Comment

well, they didn't adapt to a changing market when they faced increased competition. They do make great knives, but it looks like this company lacked vision to innovate in the firearm industry.Comment

Let's say HK was able to come back into the US with a HK91 or 94 at the same price as a PTR and other clones or Action Arms was back with Israeli Uzi's, would the PTR and clones or Vectors be worth anything?Comment
