I buy mine from Markleys in Watsonville. They have a nice selection and if you want lead cast bullets they sell them for $25 for 500. They don't carry Jacketed rounds in bulk so I normally buy online for that stuff. Powders range from $20-30 for 1Lbs. Nice bunch of guys too. If they don't have it they will get it for you.

Sadly, the availability and variety of reloading supplies in the Bay Area is dwindling. Bullets x 3 across from NUMMI in Fremont was a pretty good place until Ike closed his doors for good.

Reeds comes close, but they're expensive and don't carry the bullets I typically shop for. It's hit 'n miss at Traders, they haven't re-stocked the bullets I buy for months, not to mention the only cases they have on the shelves are the oddball cartridges.

I mainly wait for the group buys that HPS and the Zouaves organize to re-supply, then look to see what's on special from the various web retailers in case I need a stop-gap solution.

I sometimes get lucky on either eBay or Gunbroker, but it's either feast or famine.

I get Zero Bullets from Angus @ GhostHolster.com.

I buy some others like Winchester, Hornady, etc at Midway.

I get my primers and powder from PowderValleyInc.com

I've aquired once fired brass in quantity from Brassmanbrass.com and eBay.

Also bought some primers and powder @ Sportsman's Warehouse in Reno.

I don't buy it locally because it isn't cost effective. Plus, I find reloading to never be the "oh no, I need bullets and I'm all out!" kind of activity. You usually know when you're running low on supplies, and 5 days of UPS Ground won't kill me. Right now I've got a backlog of about 6k rounds of target loads in .45 and .40 right now due to my allergies not letting me get out and go shooting much in the last month.

Thanks everyone for your input. I notice Reed's prices are up there. Yesterday was my first time shooting my reload ammo and noticed differences in accuracy from 69 grains compared to the Federal 55 gr (XM193). The 69 sierra matchking was far superior in accuracy and consistency. Out or 200 rounds I reloaded, two was DOA due to bad primers. I was kinda worried on how things would work (KB scenario) out and was very pleased with the results. Based on this, I would rather reload my own ammo than buying already made ammo.

They sell powder, primers, and bullets (rarely brass). Their prices are pretty competitive. Powder is approx $18/lb, (8lb Varget $117, 5lb RL15 $80), Fed Gold Medal Match GM210M primers $25, box of 100 Sierra 175 SMK $22. Plus tax of course. Sales at the range only - no phone/mail orders.

They carry mostly Sierra bullets, but some Hornaday also. Mostly Match bullets (SMKs, HPBT, AMAX)

That's just just to give you an idea of prices (because that's what I have on the shelf at home). Members get a 3% discount
