i.e. not vertical but tipped forward so that bullets bounce of towards the ground. The general idea with chains: use spacers on the bolt so the chain is fastened a greater distance behind plate, like the attached image, target kit.jpg (which is a diagram made by shootingtargets7).
If not using a chain, such as cheaper bungee cord, I need a good way to attach bungee to a bolt behind the plate, instead of bungee cord attached to the plate hole (in order to slant the plate).
One way occurs to me, use something like this:
Bolt goes through the steel plate, spacers added on bolt, and then bolt goes through one hole of the tie link and bungee hooks into the other tie link hole?
