    Pistol Pic's and Sales

I've sold quite a few firearms to calgunner's over the years since I was turned on to this site and that you to those who sponsor and built this web site. But I do have to say that many a nice rifle and pistol been pasted up becuase someone didn't have a pic of the firearm. Pic's are nice but they don't always tell the items worth. I've also come across nice pistols with no pics and when I got to the ffl I was sold on it. Anyone else agree?

No pictures is equal to No sales. If they can not come up with decent pictures why would I want to bother going to a FFL to see the gun.

They just lose a sale and it will take longer to finally sell the gun.

I think pictures are purty, but aren't necessary for things like nib and lnib. It does help to see pictures when they are used though. Not always... cause pictures can lie, but its better than text.

Pictures make the potentials buyers salivate over the gun, and make them more likely buyers

Pictures are worth a thousand words, and in some cases, can earn you a thousand dollars.

If someone does not buy my gun because of no pic, I think I will survive...

Some calgunners have gotten some quite nice guns at fair prices from me, even w/o a pic.

I've bought and sold many times without pics.

Pictures definitely help, especially if the gun has been modified or is a custom build. For older guns, i.e. mil-surps, it gives a chance to see if the wood and metal condition are even worth a closer look.

My mom recently got me a camera, but it appears to be broken.

As I don't ship and no pics, I am very open to meeting a buyer for an inspection and I try to give a good discription in the ad, those that won't buy from me just miss out I guess.

I think it is silly when someone is selling a new or ANIB item and people clamor for pics, I think I know what a NIB Glock 19 looks like by now...

Pics are nice to look at though. My last item I bought here, had no pic, a used Glock 17.
