The Aimpoint CompM2 tactical optic is the standard sight for the US Army and the US Air Force as well as the armed forces of many NATO countries. Although sometimes overlooked, it is important to note that this optic is parallax-free with unlimited eye relief. The CompM2 is compatible with all generations of night vision. It has ten settings of brightness intensity: 4 NVD, and 6 daylight, of which one is extra bright. The CompM2 holds up under the roughest physical handling and can withstand the most severe weather conditions and temperatures. In fact the CompM2 is completely submersible and will withstand pressures up to 2.5 atmospheres allowing it to be taken up to 75 feet underwater. The latest CET technology allows approximately 10,000 hours of daytime operation on one battery depending on the dot intensity setting. Approximately 100,000 hours of use on the night vision settings. The red dot diameter is 4 MOA.
Unlike some other mounts on the market today, the GG&G Cantilever Aimpoint Ring is manufactured to the correct height for co-witnessing with Back Up Iron Sights. It's light weight ergonomic design places the Aimpoint far enough forward on an AR15/M16 flat top to insure quick target aquisition. The Aimpoint Scope is securely held in place with six socket head cap screws and the mount includes a waterproof spare Aimpoint battery compartment. All edges of the mount have been dehorned to protect the shooter in combat environments. It is manufactured from 6061 T6 solid billet aluminum and hard anodized per MIL-SPEC in a matte black finish. The captivated eliptical thumbnut and spring activated sidebar provide an easy yet solid method of attachment to the weapons dovetail base.

The GG&G Accucam Quick Detach Cantilever Aimpoint Ring has the same features as our original Cantilever Ring, the body is manufactured from solid billet 6061 T6 aluminum, six cap screws firmly hold the scope in place, and the insulated waterproof battery compartment keeps the spare battery handy. The Accucam QD Locking Lever System provides a solid method to quickly install or remove the Aimpoint from the weapon. The Aimpoint can be installed on a dovetail rail in seconds by rotating the Accucam Cam Lever to the locked position. It can just as quickly be removed. UNlike other systems, it is fully adjustable for worn or out of spec MIL-SPEC-1913 dovetails. In tests the Accucam Cantilever Ring has shown to be repeatable to 1/2 MOA. The loop design is easily operated, even with a gloved hand and the rounded design is ergonomic and virtually snag proof.
