Greetings,
Over the years I've gleaned a tremendous amount of information from Calguns.
Thank you. I've never registered because I'm not an expert and most of my questions have been answered through research.
I registered today because I am helping the children of an elderly friend of mine with severe Alzheimers syndrome take care of his estate. He was an avid Garand marksman until a decade ago and stockpiled a sizable cache of .30 M2 Ball ammmo. There are twelve 400rd. cans that were stored in his climate controlled vault. The ammo was made by the Saint Louis Ordinance Co. and the headstamp reads 56'. I'm looking for recommendations for an avenue to sell the ammunition and what a fair asking price would be. The ammo is located in the Northern part of the State of Jefferson.
Luckily my friend gave away his collection to his friends once it settled in what he would be facing. His son received the Garands, and although not a shooter, treasures them.
Michael
