A guy at he range was telling me about the SIG Service Package. You get nights sights, they change all the springs as needed and he said they gave him a new barrel. ( I wonder if they'll give me a new one as well. Mine as a lot of rounds through her...) All for about 150 plus 55 shipping r/t.

Should I put a Black Nitro finish on mine for an additional $99.00 since they have it in house anyway ? ss frame with black slide...

I've sent all of my used Sigs for service package and never once have I got free barrel. I don't think it is included in the package.

As for the finish, it is a preference. I have all stainless finish & two tone finish. Indulge your fantasy.

The Service Package is pretty much the same things they do to their CPO pistols.

They'll go through it looking for worn parts and replace them, they'll replace all the springs, and install new night sights. If you have a worn out barrel, they'll replace it...worn out means worn out rifling (rare at less than 50k+ rounds), dinged up muzzle crown, or peened outer chamber or barrel legs. Related to that, they'll take a look at your locking block for wear/peening

The only major piece I've seen replaced is a take-down lever.

The finish they apply is called Nitron and is a propriety coating. It is the same finish they apply to all their pistols.

If you're not familiar with the internal workings of the SIG, the package does offer peace of mind
