    Colt Bisley beer bottle opener

In an old Skeeter Skelton gun article he wrote of knowing a guy when he was a kid who opened Budweiser beer bottles with the hammer spur of his Colt Bisley. So, I just had to try it once. Worked like a charm. Yeah, they're twist offs. But the concept worked.

Galil rifles had a bottle opener built into the bipod. The Israelis got tired of the troops opening soda bottles on the side of their rifles so they added a bipod. For you younger guys out there, in the 1960's soda came in glass bottles. There was no such thing as a twist off top.
