    Glock 43---the single-stack 9?

Is this indeed the highly anticipated single-stack 9mm from Glock to rival the S&W M&P Shield and Springfield XDs, among others? Discuss...

Mixed feelings about a single stack 9mm, I love the 26, and am curious to see what they'll do with a single stack 9mm.

LOL, Glock has been playing this joke about "slimmed down" models for over 20 years now.

They bevel the slide, change the radius here and there and make it look like the gun is thinner (but it's not).

But yeah the single stack will be a bit thinner but it's still a brick even with a single stack mag. Nothing like the nice lines of a true slim pistol like a Kahr.

The Glock single stack is almost as rare as the famed Glock 7. I'm really not sure what the attraction is at this point. I mean, M&P and XDS are two fantastic offerings in this slot already. It's really hard for me to believe that Glock would be able to come out with something better...maybe as good...but not better. Buy one of those and get on with life.

It's coming. Glock representatives were already talking to big retailers about G43. Not sure exactly when but should be soon and sudden as they said.

They have the single stack .45ACP Glock 36 and single stack .380 Glock 42. I think once the sells slows down for the 42 then they will release the 9mm.

Everyone wants a Glock single-stack 9x19mm subcompact, so the (Glock 43) new release will be a single-stack .45GAP subcompact.
                        It's how Glock trolls people.

Rather stick with my Glock 26. Its compact enough.

I love glocks, truly, I do.
But once you put a 9mm shield in your hand and feel that trigger, I have sincere doubts that glock or anyone else for that matter could come anywhere near the minimal dimensions or quality of that fine pistol.
I think the shield trigger is better than the full-size m&ps.
