I'm seeing some nice work in there, and not a real big fan of Kydex but I could see ordering some of that gear.

However, if order bumping is the SOP, accepting more money from people for a 'rush' job after having already collected money from others, well it's a non starter for me and likely most other Calgunners.

One man band or not, that isn't how you build a business. Either you do it FIFO, or don't do it at all. I would be livid if someone told me I was getting bumped because others paid more for a rush job, if I had already given up the money. And that is essentially what some are saying in his marketplace thread, and acting like anyone who didn't know about the rush premium is an idiot.

So I'll be on the sidelines instead of ordering from the guy until we get some clarity. If he's running a secret squirrel, good ole boy club where you have to know somebody or grease a palm to get anything done - may as well find a secret squirrel forum to do business.

If there is an issue then yes but one instance is not a pattern.
Before doing anything, first I need to hear from both sides.

All it use to take is one girl making a false allegation to get someone swinging by the neck without hearing his side. You would have never lasted in "the old west". But, in today's world I find it hard to believe that you even had to say this.

So if everyone pays to have their stuff expidited,then how does the orders go then? by default it would go back to typical lead time, and the others who did not pay the expidited fee are forced to wait/kicked to the back of the line?
Given that the vendor already stated he offers expidited custom work,I'm not very confident about giving him more work If there is a good chance i will get pushed back.

I spoke via PM to Strapped Kydex, the OP's items were mailed and should arrive Monday per the USPS and he will be emailing the OP and me a tracking number later tonight or tomorrow morning depending on when he gets home.
