    "Ulitmate Cliploader"?

(yes the name bothers me, but I digress)
    Has anyone heard of/used this?

I just got a MkIII, and with the BFs MkII we use that little red thing to help load the magazines but it doesn't work with my MkIII mags. So I searched and found this. Sounds too good to be true?

I have no personal experience with this device , but there are videos on YouTube demonstrating the product and almost makes me want to get a MkIII just to use this "clip" speed loader.

I know someone who has (or had) one. I tried using it when he complained that it never worked right for him, and it was pretty hard to use. If you use it just right, it'll work fine, but you have to use it perfectly right.

I've got one, and it's ok. If you keep it tilted at the right angle, the rounds usually go right in. It can be finicky at times, but overall saves a lot of time and hassle. I typically bring about a dozen mags to the range, and it's easy to just load them all at once.

I also have a couple of these, and they work really well also. But you have to feed the mags yourself. Not as quick, but they don't take up much room.

Takes a little fiddling around and learning to start with. It took me about ten magazines to figure out how to make the Ultimate Cliploader work just right. Now that I have the skill I don't even think about it, takes about 20 seconds to load a 'clip'. A little bit of silicone lube helps. Have to adjust the screw in and out until it starts to work right then leave it alone. Have to hold it at just the right angle, keep bouncing and shaking it, keep refilling it. Makes you shoot up lots more ammo than if you're hand loading the magazines. If this one ever breaks I'll get another one.

            I have a Ruger Mark III 22/45.

I just use a inexpensive ADCO Thumbsaver loader for
                  my Ruger MKIII 22/45.

I want to review one of the simplest little devices you may ever stick in your range bag: the Adco Super Thumb mag loader. This cleverly designed little piece of polymer slips over a pistol magazine, and enables you to easily push down the mag spring to insert more rounds without slipping or...

Very small & compact and easy to use.
Just slip-over the magazine and press down
                  without any pain.

Yeah, we have that for the bf's Mark 2, but mine is a Mark 3 and the magazine for it is different than the 2. (Well at least the one that came with the gun is.) It has a weird fin at the top, we put the speedloader on my magazine and had to disassemble the mag to get it off.

I have one sitting on top of the TV and that's usually where it stays. For some reason, the ammo seems to get wedged into the main feed ramp, and jams the whole deal up.

Mine works great with plated ammo. Some of the bulk lead stuff has a nasty amount of lube that will bugger things up. No real surprise.

Between the Ultimate Cliploader and the Butler Creek doohickey for loading 10/22 mags I can easily go through a thousand rounds before lunch.

I use one for my Ruger MK III and Buckmark magazines. As others have said, adjust the limit screw first (takes a few tries), and hold it at the right angle (feed line should be horizontal), and it'll work fine. Yeah, sometimes rounds hang up, but shaking the unit will either cause them to fall out or go back to the sorting section.

It works better on my Buckmark than the Ruger mags - on the Ruger mags I occasionally get a round that stands up straight on the side, or I only get 9 instead of 10 rounds in (usually a screw adjustment issue). Even with those issues, it still makes loading the mags easier and quicker than any other device I've used.

I use one all the time and it works very well. It did take a minor amount of tweaking to get it right though. A little filing on the inside, and I made a different kind of stop screw. I like it so much, the Ruger is about the only 22 I shoot now.

BTW, if you order from the Ultimate website, you can get it in different colors
