I am looking at gifting a CA legal firearm to my brother for his birthday. Could anyone provide a cost of transfer from out of state to CA (I am in AZ) that would be willing to accept a bullet button AR 15 lower reciever? I am not interested in FFL's that charge "storage fees" or charge more than $50 for a transfer. My brother might be able to complete the transfer between Palo Alto and San Jose if an FFL cannot be recommended in or near Mountain View.

Eddy's in Mountain View is a great shop, though I don't know what the fees are. Give him a call, ask him about the fees.

Oh yeah, I didn't see that requirement from OP. Ppt is 35 but transfer from out of state is 75, AFAIK, at digitalComment

RMB Enterprises (email: rmbent@aol.com) is the lowest I've found in the bay area for transfer fees. Total cost of transfer fee and DROS is $65. Might want to email Rob to confirm current pricing, but that's a pretty awesome price based on what everyone else is charging. He's in Milpitas near 237/680, so only a short drive from MV based on what you want to pay.I am looking at gifting a CA legal firearm to my brother for his birthday.
