Cabellas has $4.95 flat rate shipping on all orders over $125.00! (and no tax to boot if you order over the internet)

I don't think Cabela's carries 5.45x39, and I'm also pretty sure that there would be additionial shipping charges on ammo.

Shipping on 2,160 rds of 5.45x39 from AIM is only $49 to my house. Comes out to 13.6 cents/rd to my door. That's not too bad?

Not possibly, it is corrosive. Make sure you clean appropriately after using. I like AIM, personally.

All this cheap ammo makes me giddy thinking about how much fun can be had.

Just ordered a case (2160 rounds) of Bulgarian from AmmunitionCenter in Stillwater Oklahoma--they're on gunbroker. Came to just under $287 shipped to my home in Vegas. I like the Bulgarian best of the 4 types of 5.45 I've used.
People don't like to be meddled with. We tell them what to do, what to think, don't run, don't walk. We're in their homes and in their heads and we haven't the right. We're meddlesome.

The Bulgarian (in spam cans) was manurfactured after the Russian I've seen so it's a little newer--probably not an issue at all, but if everything else is equal I'll take the newer ammo (I'm assuming all the 5.45 was made to the same Warsaw Pact specs--I have no idea if that's really true)

The two types of commercial ammo I've used worked fine but cost significantly more--but are advertised non-corrosive. (Wolf and Silver Bear)

I also left my Tantal for a week after shooting it without cleaning; I didn't do that on purpose, I took a bunch of guns out shooting and that one got skipped. No signs of corrosion with the Bulgarian, so I'm thinking it is not very corrosive at all. Remember though--I live in Las Vegas, very low humidity most of the time. Corrosive ammo may be a bigger problem in your climate.

I really don't think it matters which 5.45 you use. I bought the Bulgarian because it was available for immediate delivery (no back order) at a price near the lowest advertised.
