PPT right after DROS of different handgun

Hey everyone, new to the forums so I apologize if this is in the wrong section. I just started the DROS on a handgun a few days ago, but I wsnted to purchase another using a PPT.

Would I need to wait 30 days again when doing the PPT, or would I just need to wait 10 days after the handgun purchase? Thanks for any help!

if you are in la city then you have to wait for the 30 days. if not you can do it at anytime. ppt does not fall under the 1 in 30 rule. and you can have multiple dros at the same time

PPT not subject to 1 in 30, jist the 10 day jail sentence.Welcome to the forum.

No need to wait to PPT another gun. You can PPT multiple handguns simultaneously or every other day, no limits. 10-day jail time still applied to each purchase though.

Do the PPT at an FFL outside of LA city limits.

They count ppt toward 1 in 30. And its only in La proper.

I got hit with that one, had one in jail in Oceanside, then went to Turners Reseda for a PPT a couple days later. No go.
Seller and I had to travel to Greta's to get the PPT done.

Yea looks like I'll just go outside of LA to so it. Initially I thought if I lived in LA I couldn't do it, but looks like that's not the case. Sweet. CA gun laws are the worst thing about this state ><

I found a NIB Coonan 357 so I was really hoping to pick it up fast
