So what is CLEO

Baboosh seems to have a way to legally import and sell some off roster HG's 1 in particular has caught my attention, and have wanted one for I don't know how long now.

Most people are highly unlikely to be able to get a CLEO sign-off for a form 4. Your best bet is most likely to get a trust, as it is the alternate option offered by the NFA.

Not sure what it's like where you are politically, but you might be better off setting up a gun trust. CLEO sign-offs in most of CA are all but impossible.

CLEO = Chief Law Enforcement Officer of where you reside
So, it's either the Police Chief of the police department of the city in which you live in or the Sheriff of the county in which you live in.
