If you havent stacked it High, cheap, and deep, you have not learned the lessons that I would say most learned during Sandy Hook

ammo is pretty much at pre sandy hook prices (except .22), and should be bought by 1000 round case, monthly. That way you can enjoy shooting while everyone else is complaining about the price of ammo

10,000 of each caliber you regularly shoot should be a no brainer.

Ammo, reloading components. I agree, 10k of the rounds you like to commonly shoot, 9mm .40, .45 ACP, .223, .308. I don't feel the need for 10k rounds of 8mm Mauser or 7.62x25. Even if you don't shoot these rounds, I would stock up as they will become very valuable again. I did trade a couple of cases of 9mm for an $1,100.00 pistol during the last panic. Ammo in the popular calibers will become better than currency.

As far as guns, if you want an AR/AK type rifle and inexplicably have not bought it yet, buy it, those will be the first to be assaulted by the next administration. Definitely mags although with our already neutered 10 rounders, I would think that reducing to 7-8 ala NY Safe Act will happen, but who knows when?

Ammo seems to be the clear winner. I've been considering getting into reloading and think the investment would pay itself off rather quickly, but have yet to commit to the idea. The cost I've estimated to get started (not including components) could pay for the under folder AK and one of the handguns I've been eyeing. However, I feel like another ammo shortage will be the most likely and first to happen.

Body armor, night vision, ammo, magazines, 80% lowers and kits, reloading gear, large caliber long-range rifles. Any handgun on the roster that you like.

What to buy? I'm going to buy a house out of state which will ensure I won't have to deal with the restrictive California laws, that I now have to deal with :-)

After Sandy Hook, everyone in any state was affected by the ammo shortage

Ammo and components. If you don't already have the guns and mags you need already..well...

My to-buy list includes another AK or 2, a couple semi auto handguns, LPK's/uppers/etc. for a couple lowers I have, and lots of ammo.

                        So my questions are:
1.) What would she go after first?
2.) What do you plan on buying in the next 1-2 years that you may potentially not be able to buy in 3 years?
3.) How will you prioritize buying ammo for the guns you already own vs. new gun purchases?

Clearly this a hypothetical worst case scenario, but something to consider nonetheless.

If some gun would be made unavailable for purchase, what is to stop the law or administration from making that apply to already purchased guns?

How about finding a political candidate to support, who would not go along with such a program, and plan to take a big chunk of that gun money or ammo money and invest it in political protection?

While everything on that list is excellent advice, the first two are by far the most immediate concerns (Congress is already talking about trying to ban armor again and civilian night vision/thermal ownership is not exactly something that makes libs happy).
