The price is good the ammo is not. Dirty and under powered IMO. My guns will eat it but many have had problems with being under gassed

The federal 100 rd value packs of 55 gr 223 is $39.99 at Wallyworld so it's a good price if your firearm will cycle it. Most AR owners steer away from it but AKs love the stuff in 762x39.

Sometimes the casings crack and get stuck in the chamber which requires tools to remove and it may create wear issues in your AR.

It depends on what you are using it for. If you are just plinking in the desert go for what is cheap. If you are going to a socal range for target practice, any brass cased ammo would be better. Remember most steel cased ammo is magnetic and not allowed at many ranges.

What kind of twist rate does your barrel have?

1 in 9 twist may not be good for heavier loads and will function better with 55 gr.

1 in 7 twist rate can handle larger grain and higher velocity rounds.

Price is good. That stuff sells at Wal-Mart for $5 and change for a box of 20.

My wife's SU16CA has no issues with shooting it but then again her rifle has an AK gas system and not the delicate AR style.

Depends on your gas system really. I know people that run it without issues. I know people with a adjustable gas block that had to adjust it.
