    Want comparison charts?

Hope this is ok - I am an advertiser here and very active in the 'Gun rights legal discussion' forum. One of the most frequent questions I see posted on many forums is for pictures of rounds and 'comparison charts'. I believe my site solves this problem for those seeking such mental and visual stimulation.

My site is http://AmmoGuide.com/ - and is (I hope) one of the most advanced reloading / ammo reference sites available. One of the site's exclusive features is a scaleable real-time cartridge-drawing engine, which means AmmoGuide can draw cartridge images on demand, to scale, from the stored cartridge dimensions (not from static image files like gif's and jpg's). So AmmoGuide can do things like produce side-by-side comparison charts at an accuracy of .01-inches. An example "visual comparison"...

    (AmmoGuide 'Visual Comparison Tool')

Now, to access all of the tools and info, AmmoGuide requires a low annual fee (about the same as 1 box of factory ammo), but the above tool will work for free members (those who register with just an email address), displaying up to 2 rounds at-a-time. (There is also a "Ballistic Comparison Tool" that is fully enabled for free members - up to 8 cartridges at-a-time).

You can access both of these tools from the "Tools" menu at http://AmmoGuide.com/

I hope this info helps others get closer to the world of ammo.

Nice picture. Many times when somone posts cartridge pics, it's w-a-a-a-y too wide for a forum and one has to scroll to the right for days. Good posting job.

Here's the AmmoGuide version of your rounds (this time with a metric ruler). With AmmoGuide, you can compare rounds you don't physically possess (which is why people are asking for pics on a forum) - so I thought I'd add on a couple more that most find interesting...

And of course, once you have a cartridge-drawing ENGINE, might as well run it flat out. :-)
