Only place I've ever seen them is at gun shows. Not saying that's a bad thing, but you'd think that some B&M stores would be selling them too.

I've heard of Olympic, never heard of Olympus Firearms.

Never heard of them before. Like the others said are you thinking of Olympic?

            Google turns up: https://www.facebook.com/olympusarms

They don't look too established, but a small startup.

What are you even talking about? Most, even the big boy makers do not actually make the individual parts of their AR's in house. And most AR parts are US made.

It's a really odd first post because ameena is a spam bot that just quoted somebody else's post from another thread so that it would sound like a real calgunner...

I have seen them at gun shows. They also have some of their products at warrior one in riverside and I believe a store called socal guns? they seem like legit uppers. Just want to know if anyone has had any experience with them.

I wonder how long it will be until Olympic Arms sends Olympus Arms a cease and desist letter. I know Olympus only makes AR15 uppers while Olympic makes AR15 upper and complete rifles, so there's no way a consumer could mix the two up... ...but Olympic might not see it that way.

Huh, good catch! I see bots all the time copy and paste from a post in the same thread but this is one of the first I have seen copy from a different thread. I did the old click quote to check if it had a hidden tracking image code but it did not. It probably will wait a couple posts to start adding those in.

                        Olympus Arms = legit company

Frank and Steve came out to the NRA Members Council a few months back and spoke about their uppers.

I know this thread is a bit old, but I figured I would post some information on my recent dealings with, Olympus Arms (not Olympic Arms) and their lifetime warranty to help out those trying to research the company . I had bought their, 16" 1/7th 5.56 13.5 quadrail with a Nickel Boron BCG and it came with a United Armory LPK. I've owned the gun for about a year, it has about 500 rounds of Federal/ American Eagle, 5.56 (55 & 62 grain) ran through it. I know it's quite a bit early to put my 2 cents in on their reliability, so this is more about their Lifetime warranty. The Olympus isn't my main shooter and my Spikes gets more playtime but I use my Spikes quality parts to compare the two. So, I noticed the Nickel Boron plating, on the BCG was starting to flake off shortly after about 250 rounds and the gas rings were shot after 400 rounds. I always clean/ lube my rifle after every range session or every month, whichever came first and I started noticing little bits of nickel plating everywhere. I never had a fte/ftf, but I decided to email Olympus Arms on the issue and I was contacted the next day by Nicole. I explained the issue and without hesitation she said, "no problem, we'll take care of this!..Olympus Arms takes their lifetime warranty very seriously and we'll replace the bcg free of charge." I honestly was surprised at the quick response, but I gave her my address and I had received the new nickel Boron bcg on my doorstep in 2 days... I feel like it's Christmas every time I receive a box in the mail, so i was pretty happy with their customer service. Back to the bcg, the key is properly staked, the machining isn't to bad but i noticed the bolt is made from 9310, not carpenter 158. I haven't been able to take it out and do a functions check but I'm hoping they used a proper heat treat since they chose the 9310.
