Trump Wants Justification Of 'Success' For So-Called COVID 'Vaccines'

President Trump demands drugmakers 'justify their success' with COVID vaccines

President Donald Trump called on drug companies to "justify their success" in combatting the COVID-19 virus, demanding the immediate release of data on the matter while the CDC is "being ripped apart over this question."...

"Many people think they are a miracle that saved Millions of lives. Others disagree!" Trump said of COVID drugs including vaccines made by Pfizer, Moderna and other drug companies. "With CDC being ripped apart over this question, I want the answer, and I want it NOW."...

Trump said he's been shown "extraordinary" information from Pfizer that detail the positive effects vaccines had in stopping the spread of the coronavirus but questioned why the same data hasn't been showed to the public...

In response to the COVID pandemic in 2020, Trump launched Operation Warp Speed aimed at quickly developing a vaccine to treat the virus. The rollout of the vaccine came in 2021 under former President Joe Biden, however.

By the time the vaccine was available to all Americans, many of Trump's most diehard supporters vocally opposed vaccinations and questioned whether they were necessary. Trump was met by boos in December 2021 when he told supporters at a rally that he received a COVID booster and recommended they should, too...

"I hope OPERATION WARP SPEED was as 'BRILLIANT' as many say it was," the president said. "If not, we all want to know about it, and why???"...

"We need to know what the data says and where it is coming from, so the CDC and HHS can make the best decisions," Cassidy said in a statement. "People who criticize President Trump’s Operation Warp Speed typically misrepresent and carefully select 'their facts.' We should be honest about the success of Operation Warp Speed."...
Now, there is something I agree with. It's time we started assessing the whole debacle instead of relying on memories, revisionist histories, etc. For those who want to blame Biden, it's there in what I quoted. Trump was responsible for authorizing the development of the so-called 'vaccines' and he began the distributions...

Trump Administration Releases COVID-19 Vaccine Distribution Strategy

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and Department of Defense (DoD) today released two documents outlining the Trump Administration’s detailed strategy to deliver safe and effective COVID-19 vaccine doses to the American people as quickly and reliably as possible.

The documents, developed by HHS in coordination with DoD and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), provide a strategic distribution overview along with an interim playbook for state, tribal, territorial, and local public health programs and their partners on how to plan and operationalize a vaccination response to COVID-19 within their respective jurisdictions.

“As part of Operation Warp Speed, we have been laying the groundwork for months to distribute and administer a safe and effective COVID-19 vaccine as soon as it meets FDA’s gold standard,” said HHS Secretary Alex Azar. “This in-depth, round-the-clock planning work with our state and local partners and trusted community organizations, especially through CDC, will ensure that Americans can receive a safe and effective vaccine in record time.”...
Covid-19: Was US vaccine rollout a 'dismal failure' under Trump?

...As of 20 January, the day Mr Biden became president, about 16.5 million vaccines had been administered in the US, according to official statistics...

However, the US fell far short of the target set by the Trump administration to vaccinate 20 million people by the end of 2020.

By 31 December, fewer than three million had received one...

Vaccinations have sped up considerably since the start of the year, more than doubling in Mr Trump's last week in office compared to the first week of January.

The US did achieve more than one million doses a day on a few occasions during the Trump administration.

The daily average for the week before Mr Trump left office was less than 900,000, according to Our World in Data, although there could be a slight lag in recording daily vaccination figures.

That figure has since risen above one million doses, and President Biden has said he's hopeful of achieving 1.5 million doses a day, but "we have to meet that goal of a million a day"...

Mr Trump focused attention on what he saw as slow delivery by individual states, rather than issues at the federal level.

He tweeted on 29 December: "The Federal Government has distributed the vaccines to the states. Now it is up to the states to administer. Get moving!"

There have been issues around co-ordination and preparedness at state level, but local authorities have put this down to a lack of support from the federal government once the vaccines are distributed...
Where Biden deserves, uh, 'credit' (or is that blame and disparagement) is the acceleration of the rollout, the increase in spending, and for the mandates. From the same piece...

...The Biden administration has set out a Covid action plan, which includes measures to facilitate the distribution of vaccines.

The president wants to increase state funding, calling for a $25 billion package for vaccination manufacturing and distribution. This will have to be approved by US lawmakers.

He's planning to open 100 federally funded vaccination sites, as well as mobile units to reach people in remote areas, staffing them with thousands of workers...

And in a significant departure from the previous administration, Biden's team has proposed releasing all available vaccine doses as soon as they become available.

This is a controversial approach, as it potentially delays the availability of the second booster jab, but it's one that has been adopted by the UK government and others...
Get Vaccinated or Lose Your Job: President Biden’s Unconstitutional Mandate

President Biden is more concerned about government control than the safety of our workforce or the protection of our individual rights.

On September 9, 2021, President Biden issued an Executive Order requiring all federal employees and contractors be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by November 22, 2021 and December 8, 2021, respectively. The alternative? Termination.

Not only does this mandate go against our inalienable rights protected in the Constitution, but it ignores the fact that natural immunity also provides protection against infection from the virus. In fact, other countries have adopted policies upholding this as a valid, science-based exemption from vaccine requirements...

While President Biden's Executive Order requiring vaccinations for all federal employees and contractors at the threat of termination goes too far, it's also become a model for Democrat governors across the country – including Governor Inslee – who are using it to justify their own drastic actions and impose similar, state-level mandates. Now, in addition to the hundreds of Washington state emergency personnel who are already out of work, threatening the safety of our communities, we also have hundreds of federal workers in Washington state who are facing termination. These dictatorial policies set a dangerous precedent, even after more than a year of severe overreach by our Governor. I will continue to fight for the men and women of Central Washington – and all American workers – to have safe, and scientific, options besides termination or vaccination.

Getting vaccinated is a personal choice between an individual and his or her doctor, not an individual and the government. The narrow provisions required under this current executive order force my constituents into choosing between their ability to earn a living for their families or making a personal, medical decision that may or may not be right for them. Safe and effective alternatives to this mandate are not only available, but paramount in protecting the health and safety of our workplaces and the individual liberties of Americans across the country.

While I continue to encourage anyone who is able to do so to get vaccinated, it simply is not constitutional – or effective – to impose expansive "one size fits all" mandates. President Biden needs to stop dictating and start leading, beginning with considering smart, science-based alternatives.
Let's hope this whole exercise doesn't turn into casting blame and actually gets at the Truth; i.e., that the so-called 'vaccines,' like the flu shots, are a prophylaxis treatment intended to quell disease spread rather than provide immunization. As a result, let us hope they then determine the mandates were, in fact, unconstitutional and should have been left as a personal choice rather than demanded by Government... or else. Finally, we can only hope that some reality is introduced in terms of showing actual 'effectiveness' as opposed to simply more claims.

When the Biden administration forced it down our throats and threatened to to take away our freedoms and destroy our livelihoods is we didn't comply, it was on him. Trump had nothing to do with that,
Always looking for vintage Winchester and Marlin lever action rifles. Looking to sell? Know of one for sale? Drop me a line!

      Exactly.

The problem is, there are those, including on the site, which are attributing the so-called 'vaccine' to Biden, calling it the "Biden vaccine."

Trump authorized the so-called 'vaccine.' Trump was responsible for the initial distribution. Revisionism aside, that's just fact.

As I've said, Biden owns the mandates and that is fact, despite many attempts to assuage his responsibility by pointing to the states, businesses, etc. The problem with that is that Biden was the enabler of the mandates and Biden was responsible for those pushed on employees of and those who worked with the Federal Government, which paved the way for the state and local actions vis a vis what Biden's DOJ ruled.

Trump left it up to individuals. Biden attempted to 'dictate' to individuals via consequences for not complying. That's the difference.
